Return & Refund Policy

We accept returns only in the following cases:

  • If the product is defective or broken.
  • If the product was damaged during shipping.
  • If the wrong item was received.

10-Day Return Period

You have 10 days from the date of receiving your item to request a return. Returns requested after this period will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If you find that your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at play@toysforafrica.co.za so we can evaluate the situation and resolve the issue.

Exchanges

If you want to exchange your item, we will process the exchange at no additional cost. The only exception is if the product was damaged during shipping and you did not take shipping insurance—then you will need to cover the cost of returning the item to us.

Refunds

If you return an item and prefer a refund instead of an exchange, a 20% admin fee will be deducted from the refund amount. This fee covers administrative and payment gateway costs. Refunds are only available for damaged or wrong items..

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be in its original condition, unused (no signs of dust, mud, or play), with all tags and packaging intact.
  • You must provide the receipt or proof of purchase.
  • A photo showing the defect or issue with the item must be included with your return request.

To start a return, email us at play@toysforafrica.co.za. Once approved, we’ll provide instructions on how and where to send your item. Please note that returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted. Returning the items will be the client’s responsibility.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on:

  • End of Life/ Stock Clearance Sale items
  • Gift cards

European Union Customers

If your order is being shipped to the European Union, you are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period, allowing you to return your item for any reason. The item must be returned in the same condition you received it—unused, with all tags, and in its original packaging.
